South Island Heritage, Culture & Sea Discovery
Pearls, century-old fish sauce, a historic prison and a seaside lunch: Phu Quoc runs deeper than you think.
About the tour
Phu Quoc is more than beaches. Watch craftsmen open oysters to harvest pearls, step into the underground tunnels and tiger cages of Phu Quoc Prison, then visit the Phung Hung fish sauce house with its century-old wooden barrels and taste the first-press fish sauce on the spot.
At midday you relax at Sao Beach with a 7–8 dish seafood set menu by the sea, deck chairs and turquoise water. In the afternoon you go up to Truc Lam Ho Quoc Zen Monastery for panoramic views of the southern sea, and finish at Sunset Town by the Kiss Bridge. All entrance tickets are taken care of.
